ABITAlab promotes and includes reference activities of the macro-sector 08 / C1 - Design and Technological Planning of Architecture , with an inclination to environmental and sustainable projects and with characters of transdisciplinarity to integrative scientific sectors for the trajectories of interest. The laboratory currently directed by Prof. Consuelo Nava, operates with its own team, made up of researchers, junior researchers, postdocs, PhDs.

ABITAlab activates courses of collaboration in training and research with internships, internships, contracts for young researchers, innovators and students - undergraduates from local, national and international locations. It also shares these paths with the institutions and companies with which it collaborates, promoting the experience of technology transfer and building skills for the inclusion in work and the dissemination of research.
